Key life tester operation precautions
1. Before each test button life tester , when the fire tube is vertical and the torch is away from the sample, the gas flame should be checked to ensure that the total height is 20 ± 1 mm, as established during calibration. If the setting is not changed, the flame brightens from blue, which means that the gas depletion of the gas tank and the concentration depletion indicator material (such as propane) that some suppliers will add to the gas tank are burning. In this case, the gas tank should be marked with an empty sign and then returned to refill. If the setting is not changed, the total flame is blue, the blue inner flame height is not 20 ± 1 mm, and the gas in the gas tank may be too low. The pressure on the gas supply table of 0.065 to 0.138 MP proved to be sufficient to maintain the desired flame. If the gas tank cannot maintain the pressure within the above range at room temperature, the gas tank cannot be used.
2. Rotor flowmeter At the end of each experiment, the knob must be turned to the minimum to prevent the rotor from jumping rapidly when the gas is started next time, thus affecting its life.
3. The exhaust fan cannot be started during testing and calibration. Immediately after each calibration and test, open the glass door and exhaust fan to remove all fumes from the test chamber.
4. Methane (at least 98.0% purity) with a nominal calorific value of 100 Btu (thermochemical energy per cubic foot or 37.3 MJ/m3) or 8.9 kcal (thermochemical energy) per cubic meter. The gas providing the test flame may be methane, propane or butane, and these combustible gases may provide burners with the flames that are interchangeable. The technical grade of propane should be at least 98% pure, with a heat value of at least 94 +/- 1 MJ/m3 (at 25 ° C). The technical grade of butane must be at least 99% pure, with 120 +/- 3 MJ. /m3 (at 25 ° C) calorific value. In either case, the gas should be at a level that allows the test flame to be calibrated.
5. The flame of the torch should be calibrated at least every 30 days and when the canned methane gas change tank or any gas equipment changes. If the gas used is not the methane grade required by the standard. The torch flame should be calibrated before the test every day.
6. After the test is finished, the button life tester power switch and the gas cylinder main valve should be turned off to confirm that no burning substances are on fire before leaving the site.
