The Power clamp meter simplifies and accelerates the process of determining the efficiency of photovoltaic systems. It can quickly measure the AC and DC currents and voltages on both sides of the inverter, giving a true RMS readout of the power when the system is running.

The PV power clamp meter can be used for PV system installation to confirm that the inverter is working correctly, or for maintenance and troubleshooting after installation. In addition to the measurement of power and efficiency, the harmonic analysis function of the PV power clamp meter is one of the methods of inverter fault finding.

Due to the PV system life cycle of more than 25 years, regular inspection and testing is necessary to ensure that the system is working efficiently. Most inverters have a shorter life cycle than their entire system, so a special focus on system inspection and testing is required to ensure optimal system and return on investment and output power.
